We are proud of our team approach to property management in which every individual works towards a shared vision of excellence. While each of our staff members has their special area of expertise, everyone contributes to a shared responsibility of each of our properties. As a company, we are sizeable enough to maintain strong leverage with suppliers and contractors and yet we continue to sustain a personal service with our owners and residents.
Our staff continuously strives for professional growth and leading current educational opportunities. Memberships in professional associations, in-house training and regular attendance in industry seminars and expos enables our staff to effectively meet the needs of our clients.
Cheryl Karl has professionally managed residential properties since 1990. Her previous experience in sales and her employment as an inspector in the pest control industry has allowed her to bring multiple skills to Walter Williams Property Management. Cheryl’s eye for detail is a plus when deciding who will manage your property. Cheryl feels by working at Walter Williams Property Management she is working with the best in the industry. To keep up with the best, Cheryl is constantly staying abreast of industry standards by seeking out educational opportunities and attending Landlord/Tenant Law classes annually. She is proud to be a part of Walter Williams Property Management, one of the largest property management companies serving Northeast Florida. Cheryl also considers it a privilege to be on the Walter Williams team that has a history beginning in 1962. She does not consider her work a job – it’s a career, and Cheryl is a professional. Cheryl tells her prospective clients, “I will treat your property as if it were my own”.
Debbie has lived in the northeast Florida area all of her life. After earning an A.S. degree in business, Debbie worked in the medical and legal fields for a number of years. Prior to joining Walter Williams Property Management, she managed warehouse/office space for a private owner. This is when Debbie realized that she would like to pursue a career in residential property management. She attained her real estate sales associate license in 2005 and then a broker’s license in 2009.
Debbie has served on the board of directors of the Northeast Florida Association of Residential Property Managers as secretary for the past three years and is also a member of the national residential property management association (NARPM).
Debbie’s favorite time spent is with her husband, two daughters, son, and two Golden Retrievers, Susie and Henry. She also enjoys camping and canoeing down Black Creek and the Santa Fe River.
Wendy is a life-long native of Northeast Florida. Wendy a 1994 graduate of West Nassau High School was a member of Health Occupational Students of America, and competed on a State and National level, nominated for Who\'s Who Among American High School Students for four consecutive years, obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, and Academic Scholarship. Wendy married (David) in 1997 and moved to Jacksonville where she began her Property Management career from 1999-2008 as an assistant. During this time she gained knowledge and background experience in the many areas of Property Management. Wendy obtained her real estate license in 2008.
Wilson is a life-long native of north Florida. “This is truly a great place to raise a family, work and retire.” Wilson has held a Florida Real Estate License since 2006. He has an A.A. in Business Management and Accounting and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration majoring in Banking, Finance with a minor in Accounting. He also holds an Insurance license and a legal service broker’s license. Wilson brings a wealth of past experience to Walter Williams Property Management where he has served as President of Automotive Paint and Supply Company, President of Edward Oliver Corporation, Board of directors and President of WWT Holding Corporation, Branch Manager of Recruiting, Marketing and Sales Growth for Liberty National Insurance Company. Real estate has always been the place where Wilson could apply all his experience to affect growth for his customers.
Wilson has assisted as a volunteer to the NARPM legislative committee on a few occasions by meeting with legislators who are proposing changes to our current business practices in the State of Florida. He is an active Realtor® and a member of local and national Realtor® organizations like (NEFARPM) Northeast Florida Association of Residential Property Managers. Where he has the honor to have be chosen President-Elect for 2010.
Wilson’s favorite relaxation and getaway is anywhere the water’s deep enough to play in. “The good life is, family, friends, and the simple things that give real joy and love as they live and grow.”
